Dralasoft To Support BPM With New Workflow Tool

Dralasoft To Support BPM With New Workflow Tool

Dralasoft, a leader in the use of Java-enabled technology for Business Process Management (BPM), has released a workflow tool that, the company says, provides complete optimization of service oriented architecture (SOA) processes. This is the first business process execution language (BPEL) to be made commercially available.

Standards-based BPEL, it is believed, will hasten the evolution of Web services within enterprises that will enable the orchestration of complex business routines. Geared specifically for SOA, BPEL is fast becoming the preferred solution for enabling BPM within diverse, shared computing environments. BPEL offers interoperability and portability between various components within and between enterprise systems.

Gartner research has even noted, "We see the Business Process Execution Language for Web services (BPEL) as the strategic direction for process definition."

Dralasoft is harnessing the potential of BPEL by leveraging its existing workflow technology, Dralasoft Workflow, to create among other things, WSDL definitions, along with import/export capability as well as the ability to execute workflows.

Dralasoft BPEL Orchestrator can furthermore monitor, from end-to-end, workflow activity - both on an individual level and within groups. It is expected that BPEL, SOA, and SOBA's, will merge their strengths, creating highly-efficient Web services that can help with customer account maintenance, check credit rating, and inventory.

According to Gartner, "The move to service-oriented architecture [SOA] and the creation of service-oriented business applications [SOBAs] are transforming the software market."

Suresh Ramaswamy, president and CTO of Dralasoft, added, "Dralasoft believes in BPEL as the preferred standard for web-services-based business processes, which is why we've introduced Dralasoft BPEL Orchestrator, a pioneering, end-to-end solution built on one of the industry's most respected core workflow technologies."
