TriCipher and Persistent Systems Enable Secure Federation to Oracle Siebel CRM

Joint Solution Accelerates and Simplifies Business Process Integration for Enterprises and Business Partners

LOS GATOS, Calif. and SAN JOSE, Calif., July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- TriCipher, provider of on-demand identity services, and Persistent Systems, provider of software product development services, today announced the availability of a new, integrated solution for secure single sign-on to Oracle Siebel CRM and other enterprise applications. Through a development partnership, TriCipher and Persistent Systems have integrated the myOneLogin Identity Services with Oracle Siebel CRM using Oracle Identity Federation (OIF). Companies that want to securely share user identities with enterprise applications can now do so quickly and easily using Persistent's packaged OIF Integration Services and myOneLogin Identity Services, which offers standards-based federation as an on-demand service.

"Large enterprises are starting to ask SaaS vendors to work with their internal directories and identity management systems, and to integrate with enterprise systems like Oracle Siebel CRM," says Muneer Taskar, director, IdM & security services at Persistent Systems. "By combining our expertise in SaaS development and enterprise security and identity management with myOneLogin Identity Services from TriCipher, we can help service providers address these needs quickly and cost-effectively."

The joint solution uses the SAML federation standard and integrates easily with internal enterprise directories. myOneLogin Identity Services offer federation and strong authentication as on-demand services, available through Web Services calls, with subscription, usage-based pricing.

"Using Persistent's packaged OIF Integration Services together with TriCipher's myOneLogin Identity Services, SaaS providers of any size can now get enterprise-class identity management without the cost and development effort," said Vatsal Sonecha, VP Business Development and Product Management at TriCipher. "Enterprises can now add a few simple Web Services calls to their applications and leave the strong authentication and federation to TriCipher."

myOneLogin Identity Services are available today from TriCipher. Persistent has certified and released packaged integration options for OIF and myOneLogin with enterprise apps such as Siebel.

TriCipher will demonstrate its myOneLogin service at the Burton Group Catalyst Conference, in the Interoperability Demo on Wednesday, July 29th. For more information, visit
